A unified packaging system and custom icon family for DUNNS' accessory brand. Designed to read as one family across every product category.
Challenge
Famous Red is an accessory brand under the DUNNS retail group. The range covers headsets, powerbanks, cables, flash drives and SD cards. Each product needed to stand out on busy retail shelves while reading as part of the same brand family across every packaging size.
Approach
I designed a packaging system that unified the full product range under one visual language. A custom icon family handled the technical communication. Fast charging, Bluetooth connectivity, storage capacity. Clear visual shorthand that works at small sizes on busy packaging.
I implemented the production of the full accessories line and set the standards for how the system should be followed as new products are added.
Result
The packaging line is cohesive across every product category. Each SKU stands out individually while clearly belonging to the same family. The icon system simplified technical messaging and made the range recognisable at a glance.
