Sell online. Rank on Google.
Scale without rebuilding.

Shopify stores designed to grow with your range. Custom themes, Google Merchant integration, SEO from the ground up and the real technical work that most "Shopify experts" skip.

What it costs

Store sizePrice range
SmallSingle product line, up to ~50 SKUsR18,000 – R30,000
MediumMultiple categories, ~50–500 SKUsR30,000 – R50,000
LargeComplex range, migration, custom appsR50,000 – R85,000

Commerce quotes are per-project. Store size, integrations, migration scope and content depth all affect the number. Tifosi Sports, a full migration with 400K+ annual sessions, was R120,000 over four months. Most stores land lower.

  • Google Analytics 4 + Shopify reports configured

Under the bonnet

What most Shopify builds skip

  • Google Merchant Center feeds. Shopify's default feed is rejected by Google half the time. I write the feed by hand when the defaults fall short, like I did for Tifosi.
  • Schema markup on products. Structured data that gets you into rich results and voice search.
  • Collection page SEO. Most themes treat collections as afterthoughts. They're half your search traffic.
  • Page speed under load. Tifosi's catalogue ran fast at 500+ products because the theme was tuned, not stock.
  • Abandoned-cart flows that convert. Not just the default toggle. Real copy, real timing.

Questions, straight answers

Why is Commerce pricing wider than the other tiers?

Because store projects vary enormously. A 20-product boutique is not a 500-SKU electronics store with an ERP integration. Tifosi Sports was R120,000 over 4 months because it was a full migration from WordPress with custom Google Merchant scripting. Most stores land in the R30–50K range.

Do you do Shopify Plus?

For the right project, yes. But most SA businesses don't need Plus. Standard Shopify + custom development usually goes further for less.

Will my products show on Google Shopping?

Yes. Proper Google Merchant Center setup is included. Every product gets structured data and I'll configure the feed so Google accepts your listings without the usual rejection cycle.

Can you migrate from WooCommerce?

Yes. WordPress/WooCommerce → Shopify is one of the most common migrations I run. Product data, customer history and order history all transfer. SEO redirects are mapped so you don't lose rankings.

What about custom apps?

If you need functionality beyond a theme (product finders, custom reporting feeds, Shopify Flow automations), I build these. Tifosi had a custom product finder and a custom Google Merchant feed written in Liquid and JavaScript.

How long does a Shopify project take?

Small stores: 4–6 weeks. Medium: 6–10 weeks. Large / full migration: 3–6 months. Honest timelines only. I'll tell you up front.

Do you handle training?

Two-hour training session included. Plus a written handover guide. Plus a recorded walkthrough so your team can rewatch later.

What happens if something breaks after launch?

30 days of post-launch support included. After that, fixes are billed hourly unless you're on a retainer. Shopify is very stable. Most businesses never need the retainer.
