Questions, straight answers
Why WordPress and not Wix or Squarespace?
Because you own it. WordPress is free, open-source and works with any host. Wix and Squarespace are rented. The site evaporates if you stop paying and the SEO never fully catches up to a self-hosted WordPress.
Is WordPress hard to use?
Not at the level most businesses need. The training session covers everything you'll actually do: posting news, uploading images, updating contact info, adding a page. Anything more complex, you call me.
What about plugins?
I keep plugins to the minimum needed. Typically 5–7. More plugins = slower site + security risk. I choose well-maintained plugins from reputable developers.
Will it be secure?
Yes. The build includes Wordfence or similar security, automated backups and auto-updates on minor versions. Major updates happen with me involved so nothing breaks.
Can you help with content strategy?
Yes. I can help you plan a posting cadence, draft article briefs and review what you write. This is billed separately (project or retainer).
What happens if I break something?
Send me a WhatsApp. If you're within 30 days of launch, the fix is covered. Beyond that, it's typically a small hourly charge unless you're on a retainer.
